Wellnix started with just one therapist: my partner. She was running her own private practice alongside her (wonderful but also burnt-out) co-director, pouring her heart into her clients, and barely keeping up with the admin side of things. Emails, scheduling, billing... and all the little fires that come with doing it all yourself.
I originally came on board to help out as their office admin part-time; I took care of admin tasks, managed social media, onboarded new therapists and students, did some light marketing and outreach, and helped with a variety of odds and ends. Over time, I got to watch their practice grow: more clients, more to-do's, more moving pieces. And I saw just how much support therapists really need behind the scenes.
It’s a lot to carry, trying to balance client care with all the moving parts of a business. Therapists are expected to wear a lot of hats: clinician, business owner, marketer, tech support, TikTok content creator, networking pro, and lifelong learner. It became clear that this field was missing something. Therapists need affordable, knowledgeable admin support from someone who understands the unique demands of this work.
That’s where Wellnix began. What started as a support role for one practice grew into something bigger. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clinicians across Canada, learning the ins and outs of private practice, and helping my clients grow with more balance and less burnout.
Today, my team supports therapists, social workers, counsellors, and psychologists like you. We take care of the back end so you can stay organized, ease the mental load, and get back to doing the work you love.

Nereah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Wellnix as our Agency Advisor. As the founder and director of Catharsis Psychology and Psychotherapy, a thriving group practice serving clients across Ontario, she offers invaluable insight into what it truly takes to build, manage, and grow a successful private practice.
With nearly six years of experience leading and growing a group therapy practice and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology almost complete, Nereah bridges the worlds of clinical expertise and business strategy. Her guidance helps ensure our team continues to meet the practical needs of therapists and private practices with authenticity, empathy, and a deep understanding of the work they do.

Marly keeps everything (and everyone) on track: both behind the scenes at Wellnix and for the clients we support! With over two decades of experience in business administration, bookkeeping, and more recently, virtual assistance in the mental health field, she brings a wealth of practical knowledge and reliability to everything she does.
From managing day-to-day operations to supporting therapists and their teams, Marly ensures that systems stay organized, deadlines are met, and nothing falls through the cracks. Her kindness and absolute rockstar-ness make her the heart of our operations and a favourite among our clients.
